Health economics tools are widely used to systematically identify, measure, value, and compare the costs and consequences of public health programs & strategies.
Our Health Economics’ department built with a vision of playing a major role in improving public health service delivery in Sudan.
The departments specifically aim to:
- Contribute to more effective health services delivery, through research evidence based to assist the decision makers, in resource allocation and strategic investment in health and health care.
- Assist Health System in resource allocation and strategic investment in health and health care & evaluate the economic impacts of various health interventions & programs.
- Assist Health System in analysis of cost effective and efficient health intervention policies and strategies.
- Support Health System in analyzing and formulating the evidence base for intervention projects.
